SWAT VALLEY:
Swat District, also known as the Swat Valley, is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
With a population of 2,309,570 per the 2017 national census, Swat is the 15th-largest district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
with many popular tourist attractions.

KALAM VALLEY:
First and foremost is the Kalam Valley, located at a distance of 99 km from the Swat Valley. The fluvial river of Swat encircled the whole valley along with the richly green hills. The Kalam Valley capture millions of tourist to its lap. Some of the notable places to visit within Kalam are Matiltan, Usho, Utror, and Gabral; each has its significance. With the cool and pleasant weather with scenic locations, Kalam makes a perfect combination for the tourist.

KUMRAT VALLEY:
Kumrat Valley is a beautiful valley located in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It is known for its stunning natural beauty, including lush green forests, snow-capped mountains, sparkling rivers, and magnificent waterfalls.

MADYAN:
One of the most popular hill stations of Swat is Madyan. The hill station is preferable for tourists because of the Swat
River and its surroundings. When someone visits the Madyan for the first time, they love the pleasant weather and
panoramic views. Furthermore, tourists love to visit Madyan because of its delicious mouthwatering trout fish and
fantastic weather, even in the hot summer.

MARGHUZAR:
Moving to Swat Valley, we will encounter the famous Marghuzar, a small village of Swat. Marghuzar has a solid
historical significance because of the White Marble Palace, a Royal family of Swat residents. In the early 1940s,
Wali-e-Swat Jahanzeb built this palace. For some time, the place was the summer resort of Wali-e-Swat later, the
palace serves as a hotel till today. A night view at White Palace is another fantastic experience.

MAHUNDAND LAKE:
Mahudand Lake is also a must-visit place in SWAT Valley. The glacial alpine lake is located in the Usho Valley of
Kalam. The richly green meadows encircled the lake at an elevation of 9,603 ft. The immense Hindu Kush peaks
provide a complete backdrop with green fields for the tourists to camp. The best time to visit the lake is in midsummer
because the lake is frozen in winter and inaccessible due to road blockage. Above all, you will find different species
of flora and fauna with enormous fishes.

MALAM JABBA:
Malam Jabba is exclusively one ski resort in Pakistan. It is located at a distance of 314 km from Islamabad and 51
km from Saidu Sharif Airport. Swat Valley’s most famous hill station is alongside the Hindu Kush Mountain Range.
Moreover, the road to Malam Jabba is curved, but adventure lovers visit the place for skiing with full zest. Above all,
this excellent ski slope is enclosed by dense forest. Additionally, Malam Jabba Resort has its class in Pakistan with
mega facilities for winter sporting and adventure tourism.

FIZA GHAT:
Fiza Ghat Park is a popular tourist spot for mouthwatering food and a pleasant climate. It is located in Mingora, almost 3.6 km from the city. The Swat River’s rushing water with the whole valley’s panoramic scene is indeed observed through this point.

KUNDOL LAKE:
In between the gigantic Hindu Kush Mountains lies the beautiful lake of Kundol which attracts thousands of tourists. Snow-clad mountains encircle the lake with a lush green forest in the north of Utror Valley. Tourists find it great to go camping beside the lake because of the trees. They enjoy the fantastic weather and capture the night view with their lenses. Additionally, the lake is at an elevation of 9,950 ft. The best time to visit the lake is in summer when you can enjoy fishing and boating. In the winter, the lake’s roads are blocked due to heavy snowfall.

SPIN KHWAR LAKE:
Slightly unexplored but holding a mesmerizing beauty, the whitewater lake capture tourists. Spin Khwar Lake is
surrounded by the gigantic Karakorum Mountains and fed by glacial melt. Moreover, it is located east of Utror Valley
and on the north side of Kundol Lake.

SHINGARDAR STUPA:
Shingardar, a town of SWAT, holds its significance because of the different Buddhist Stupas and monuments. One of
the most important is the Ghalegay Stupa, the huge Stupa is located alongside the Swat River. Moreover, almost 3
km away from Barrikot village and 14 km from Mingora.
